Synchron Stage Vienna

Control A: Where recordings happen

Based around a SSL 96 channels Duality Delta console, a lot of different 500 preamp modules, Adam Audio speaker setups in 5.1 and 5.1.4, SSL D/A and A/D converters and 3 Pro Tools rigs the Control A is the centre in our daily recording process. Connected analog and via Dante to all recording stages all challenges can be accepted. Acoustically perfect designed by Walters-Storyk Design Group.

Control B: Where mixing happens

The Dolby Atmos Music certified Control B is one of my favourite places at Synchron Stage. Mixing in this acoustically well balanced and light flooded room with its Adam Audio 7.1.4 speaker system is just a joy. With its 48 channels SSL Duality Delta console Control B is also connected to all recording stages and makes smaller recordings possible as well.

Stage A: Where music happens

Stage A is one of the best sounding stages I know. With its 540m2 and 1.6 sec reverberation time, which is even shorter in the low frequencies, the room has a perfect measure of clarity. The low end is very punchy but never masks any higher frequencies. It is just a pleasure to record tutti sessions with the Synchron Stage Orchestra in there. Also the air condition can be turned on while recording which is unique in the scoring stage universe.

Stage B: Where „Rock“ happens

This 70m2 recording stage is designed for drum recordings or small ensembles. It can also be used as an ISO booth for piano, percussion or other instruments which have to be separeted in a tutti session.
